Role Summary

The purpose of this position is to be a main point of internal contact for a select group of top US PCS clients to ensure their servicing needs are proactively, professionally, effectively, accurately, and satisfactorily met. ACE’s are responsible and accountable for representing Russell Investments and US PCS while proactively contracting premier clients, responding to requests, answering questions, and resolving issues. The ACE will work in conjunction with the Divisional Client Executive (DCE), taking a team approach to ensuring all premier client needs are met.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

• Act as primary internal relationship contact for premier PCS clients – serve as subject matter expert in regards to Russell research, products, proposals, asset allocation, practice management, marketing, etc.

• Assist in the composition and ongoing evolution of Discovery Documents for each premier client – carry out promised service plans and document success.

• Proactively contact each client within territory each at least once per month to provide value-add service and sales ideas to help them increase their business.

• Partner with Divisional Client Executive to build a territory business and rotation plan – communicate daily with DCE to ensure proper coverage of clients.

• Liaise with various departments within Russell to build a network of resources that will help clients solve their problems, and to communicate opportunities, trends and feedback.

• Utilize various communications and client relationship management systems to track client interactions, needs and trends.


The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

• University undergraduate degree. Master’s Degree preferred

• CFP, CIMA certification preferred

• Series 7, 66 licensees required

• 7+ years in increasing responsibility sales/service roles within financial industry

• Deep knowledge of the financial industry – especially mutual funds, separate accounts, portfolio construction and asset allocation

• Strong relationship management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Superb problem-solving and research abilities

• Trained in CRM (SalesForce), Microsoft Office and various industry (Morningstar, Zephyr) and Russell-designed asset allocation and analysis software (Russell Portfolio Builder/Generator)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills – especially via e-mail and phone

• Ability to solve a variety of deep investment and practice management problems

• Strong emotional intelligence to deal with dissatisfied clients in a temperate manner

• Superior organization skills – ability to juggle multiple client inquires simultaneously

• Excellent responsiveness to client needs

• Strong leadership sensibility to do what’s right for the client and to assist in proactively leading the territory
