Our clients include private individuals, government agencies, central banks, asset managers, pension funds, charities and foundations for both segregated portfolios and pooled products.
Client Liaison Team is currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional to join and provide professional client support to institutional clients and fund managers, key responsibilities include:
- Liaise and deal with client or client advisor for fund manager enquiries, complaints and non-standard administrative-related queries and where appropriate, on behalf of Investment Directors, to advise clients of investment breaches and how they have been resolved
- Ensure that all information pertinent to the client (whether client specific or regulatory) is provided to the relevant departments, and if required, acted on
- To ensure that client instructions are circulated and implemented, where appropriate, by all relevant parties (Investment Directors/Fund Managers, Risk, Middle Office and Client Services)
- Meet existing or prospective clients or their representatives in HK as appropriate
- Drafting and update of Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) with both new and existing clients, and assist with the negotiations of any amendments
- Setting up of new accounts, to ensure that all reporting and disclosure requirements are understood and are able to be implemented, Investment Restriction Guidelines (IRGs) have been signed off and circulated, and that any non-investment queries are dealt with
- To liaise with the Investment Directors or Fund Managers where changes and amendments are required, and to ensure that client documentation is updated accordingly and internal monitoring is feasible
- Responsible for maintenance and update of all inter-office delegation agreements
- To maintain and update a full client database which includes key information for each client, including IMAs and IRGs, and the physical copies of all documents are maintained
- Compile periodic and ad-hoc reports for management review as well as for clients
Skills
- University graduate in Business, Finance and/or related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA
- Around 6 to 8 years working experiences, strong experience within the investment management industry including relationship management and handle complex investment documents and mandate changes
- Excellent inter-personal skills and good stakeholder management skills, with ability to host clients' visits and build good relationship with various internal and external parties
- Good critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proactive, client oriented and able to work under minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure
- Exceptional English writing abilities, excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese Mandarin)
