Associate Commercial Bank (m/f)
J.P. Morgan’s Commercial Bank International Banking Group expands the local coverage of US subsidiaries in Germany for fully fledged, global banking services.
Working in a team environment, the associate will have access to senior officers of the firm and senior clients. The position offers a challenge to perform at the highest levels of excellence and rewards for the achievements in a demanding environment. The associate will be required to:
- Work with other professionals as a team drawing from the full spectrum of the firm's resources to develop financial solutions to meet the needs of Commercial Bank corporate clients in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
- Assist the Commercial Bank relationship manager with the development of client relationships of existing and prospective customers as well as structuring of financial transactions in close cooperation with US origination teams and US bankers as well as product specialists from across the firm.
- Act as the first entry point to J.P.Morgan and coordinate the firm for the client.
Responsibilities are:
- Conduct industry and company research
- Help with industry and credit analysis (review financial statements and support credit approval and documentation process)
- Maintain internal reports including deal tracking and pipeline reports
- Assist banker in managing existing client relationship and developing new client base
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new revenue
- Coordinate with various internal teams within J.P. Morgan Frankfurt and globally
- Assist the coordination of new client implementations and following up on client issues/queries
Professional Profile:
- Bachelors degree or similar with outstanding academic credentials
- Minimum of 3 years relevant banking, credit lending or risk management experience within an industrial sector corporate or in a similar position with another bank
- Client-facing experience
- Strong computer skills including PowerPoint, "PitchPRO" and Excel based modelling
- Fluent German and English language skills Personal Profile:
