Associate, Corporate Banking Relationship Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Research and prepare business presentations for meetings with clients
• Attend targeted client visits with Relationship Manager and actively contribute to discussion and development of the corporate relationship
• Assist in the active management of client relationships and respond to client requests in absence of Relationship Managers
• Support Relationship Managers by creating pitch books and other marketing material
• Assist in managing the global network
• Coordinate local and regional RMs and product specialists as required
• Assist with the preparation of call summaries after client discussions
Manage New Business Committee Credit Approval Process / Deal Preparation / Account Maintenance
• Write credit applications – coordinate the information flow with customers and agent banks
• Complete financial sensitivity analysis for existing customers and prospects
• Coordinate with Credit Department and to ensure timely credit decisions.
• Review legal documents. Work with internal counsel to address and satisfy any legal and/or business issues therein, as the case may be.
• Coordinate the preparation of New Business Committee documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal account maintenance and KYC guidelines
• Ad hoc projects and miscellaneous responsibilities as required.
Experience /Qualifications/Education:
• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Finance or Business-related discipline
• 1-3 years of experience in Client Relationship Management with corporate clients
• Formal credit training or previous credit analysis experience desired
• The above responsibilities require an individual that is extremely self-motivated, has the capacity to work independently and coordinate efforts within the Client Relationship Management team.
• Good writing skills and attention to detail as well as good communication skills are essential for the position.
• Word, Excel PowerPoint proficiency required.
• Must be a strong team player
