Position summary
Corporate Bond Evaluations Analyst. This position will be expected to monitor market trends and headlines in the Corporate Bond Market and incorporate these data points into the evaluation process as appropriate. Building and maintaining market contacts to assist in validating inconsistent trends will be a plus in this role. An understanding
of Credit Default Swaps as well as other credit products will be a key asset in this role.
This is an entry-level position. Fresh graduates will be considered
Duties accountabilities
- Responsible for accurately pricing various sectors of the APAC fixed income market using proprietary models
- Perform credit spread analysis and dealers quote research
- Analysis of primary and secondary markets
- Maintain existing models as well as increase sector coverage
- Distribute prices on a daily basis to Markit client base.
- Manage clients challenges
- Interact and communicate both internally and externally in a professional and timely manner
Business competencies
Education and experience
• BA degree in Economics or Finance preferred.
• Some experience or knowledge in Corporate Fixed Income Markets will be an advantage.
• Awareness of compliance and regulatory issues a plus
• Ability to monitor both macro and micro credit events and apply to daily work flow.
• Fluent in Microsoft applications, ability to facilitate SQL data base enquiries a plus.
