Job Purpose The Associate Creative Director (ACD) assists the Creative Director and other members of the Creative Team in partnering with account leaders in strategic thinking to define project assignments and develop and execute creative solutions. They help manage the creative standards, both art and copy, while driving the creative process. They will manage their assigned projects, ensuring they are the best demonstration of the agency's capabilities. Job Responsibilities On a project by project basis, establishes, manages, and maintains the creative direction and goals for specific projects ensuring they fit the Client, the brand, and the business objectives. Provides guidance to the Creative team relative to the team's knowledge and understanding of the Client's business and marketing needs and situations. Manages projects from beginning through completion Achievable workload balance Effective challenges for each member's skill level Career development as professionals. Fiscally responsible for job budgets, meeting deadlines, and utilization of all team members. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, Communications or Journalism, or equivalent applicable work experience is required. 7+ years industry experience with at least 5 years in consumer products, media, or agency experience. ACD should be proficient at working with copy writers, and art/design (advertising, promotion, and interactive media) Creative self-starter. Strong organization, negotiation, and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to present effectively to large groups. Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Team player with good people skills.
