East Stroudsburg University is currently seeking an Associate Dean of Field Experiences Partnerships. This is a 10 month position (22 Pay Periods). As part of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, ESU offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits.

 

Responsibilities: The Associate Dean of Field Experiences Partnerships has administrative responsibilities to develop and maintain productive partnerships between the ESU Teacher Education Unit and the surrounding school districts and educational settings. The Associate Dean works to develop high quality field placement sites for our candidates and to facilitate collaborative experiences between the university and the schools that will have a positive impact on Pre k-12 student achievement. The Associate Dean also has leadership responsibilities surrounding assessment and accreditation requirements for the Teacher Education Unit and will oversee the management of Tk20 (our data management system).

 

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30 pm; some nights or weekends may be required.

 

Qualifications:Doctorate degree in Education or closely related field. K-12 teaching experience; experience in teacher education or professional development of teachers; knowledge of and experience with teacher education accreditation processes. Preferred Qualifications: Supervision of preservice or practicing teachers. K-12 and/or higher education administration or leadership experience preferred. Experience using Tk20 or another data management system. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to take initiative and demonstrate integrity. Minimum Bi Weekly Salary: $2,435.00. Actual salary based on experience. Final selection will be based upon a successful interview and background check. All candidates must furnish proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. at the time of employment. Reimbursements for interview and relocation expenses are not available for this position.
