Personal Markets Customer First Operations Group is looking for an Associate Department Application Specialist to join their team in Dover. In this role you will primarly focus on manual and automated regression testing.
Under direct supervision, responsible for the analysis, design and maintenance of a specific departmental applications. Conducts analysis and research on informational needs for a specific department. Analyzes software, reports generation capabilities and designs computer outputs. May assist other related users with access to hardware, software, data files and data bases to enable users to retrieve and manipulate data effectively. Uses several systems including mainframes, mini, micro, networked and manual systems.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Performs assigned business analysis tasks including: specifications writing, test planning, testing, procedure and operational manual writing, data entry, presentation design and production materials, spread sheet and graphics production. May be assigned to perform workflow, process and data analysis for minor system enhancements and small projects.
- Maintains a strong understanding of department operations and develops appropriate systems to create operating efficiencies.
- Works with Portsmouth I.S. Representatives regarding the design, implementation and maintenance of business systems.
- Analyzes system changes, enhancements and new programs appropriate for departmental needs and objectives.
- May answer "Help Desk" calls and solve routine systems operational and support problems.
- May provide technical supervision for support personnel.
