The University’s Strategic Plan 2011-2015 includes a $900M capital expenditure program that will significantly transform University facilities over the next three years.
We are seeking an Associate Director, Financial Planning and Performance Improvement to work within our Financial Management Analysis Unit. Reporting to the Director Financial Management and Analysis you will:
- lead a small specialist team in the coordination and completion of the University five year financial model that supports the University Strategic Plan
- coordinate and implement the University wide annual budget
- manage the forecasting process including identification, development and oversight of transformation initiatives that will provide sustainable improvements in the University’s overall financial performance.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- a tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting or Commerce and membership of Australian Society of CPA’s
- extensive experience in delivering a cohesive and effective organisation wide budget, financial planning and financial performance improvement process and system gained in , an organisation of medium to large size, complexity and diversity
- experience in staff management and leadership.

Remuneration package: $160,043 - $166,390 p.a. (which includes a base salary of $135,545 - $140,970 p.a., leave loading and up to 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation).
