Associate Director – Research recruitment
Responsibilities:
- To assist the Director of Research, HK, Macau Taiwan in executing research assignments
- To motivate and assist Hong Kong research team members to meet assignment deadlines with high-quality research output
- To supervise staff in setting up an efficient database system for Hong Kong research that ensures rapid and easy access to all types of data
- To take principal responsibility for ensuring that the databases are properly managed and maintained
- To take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of all work carried out by the Hong Kong research team
- To assist in selling up and enforce an effective due diligence procedure to ensure that all work produced by the team is of a superior quality:
- The due diligence procedure should put in place several lines of defense for vetting the quality and accuracy of all research and outbound reports such that they are checked by at least one senior executive before their release for circulation
- Such due diligence should be enforced on a daily basis on all work produced by the Hong Kong research team.
- The potential candidate should play a lead part in overseeing and directing such due diligence
- To assist the Director of Research, HK, Macau Taiwan to conceptualize and execute research projects that will assist the Company conclude business transactions with the benefit and support of research findings
- To constantly develop client contacts, participate in marketing presentations, speak in public forums, issue publicity materials, cultivate existing client relationships and undertake diligent scanning of the media in pursuit of potential instructions
Requirements:
- University graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant research experience
- Research experience in property sector will be a plus
- Proven track record of delivery and result oriented achievement
- Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Proactive in contributing ideas and recommendations in a team environment
- Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin, good writing skills in English and Chinese, and the ability to articulate research findings and opinions succinctly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel and Power Point
