Associate Director
Our client provides funding via its established and long standing origination partners plus other industry professionals. Their commitment to the mortgage market and to the further development of the loan industry in Australia is second to none. As part of their next stage of growth, the group is launching a Commercial Leasing division, which requires the need for an Associate Director to join their Risk Management team.
You will manage the Commercial Leasing Risk team, including development of the leasing policies and procedures and the reporting of all leasing components, enabling a safe, sound and profitable commercial leasing portfolio. As this division is part of its existing finance business, it is expected that you will be very hands on, capable of assisting in establishing this business within its early stages, to shape policy and procedures as well as building relevant teams. In addition, you will be highly involved in fundamental operational elements, including the ability to drive and maintain a strong customer service culture within the team, and assist the business with vital internal reporting on asset-backed finance to the Board, Executives and Credit Risk Management.
It is expected that you will have an extensive risk management experience, coupled with knowledge and understanding of all operating and finance products, chattel mortgage and hire purchase products. With your strong verbal, communication and numeracy skills, you will have the ability to work effectively autonomously or in a team environment. Your ability to build rapport and develop relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders is essential to your success in this role.
