You are tasked to work hand-in-hand with the leadership team to ensure the growth ANZ Institutional Banking's Global and Merger Acquisitions (MA). You are responsible for origination and execution of profitable and franchise enhancing MA Transactions. Lastly, you are also tasked in providing strategic advisory services to clients.
Successful Applicants must have:
- Approximately 6 - 10 years MA experience at a leading investment bank.
- Experience in being involved in leading the origination and execution of complex MA transactions.
- Growing experience in public markets and private treaty transactions.
- Highly developed commercial judgement, analytical skills, interpersonal skills (communication and influencing) - becoming an experienced strategist, tactician and negotiator.
- Relationship management capability - in particular able to gain the trust and respect of senior management and boards of directors.
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline, such as commence/business, economics, chartered accounting or law. Further qualifications such as MBA or SIA qualifications would be regarded highly.
Corporate Advisory provides transaction and strategic advisory and financial services on a global basis. The team's core business is the provision of advisory services throughout the MA process from initial strategic advice through to investor communications on completion.
