Associate Director

Our client, a world leader within the Investment Banking Industry, is currently seeking to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Associate Director to join their Regulatory Reporting Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of Group prudential returns, focusing on RWA data, monitoring compliance with prudential requirements to facilitate the best use of capital capacity.

Key responsibilities within the role include:

· Co-ordinate resources from other areas of the Group, plan and manage the timetable of data collection, consolidation and review to ensure that regulatory and internal deadlines are met
· Produce Capital Adequacy and related returns together with supporting analytical material as agreed. Operate an effective review and challenge to ensure the data is fit for purpose with strong focus on governance, best in class quality combined with the need to work to tight deadlines
· Produce Capital Adequacy information to be included in Results Announcement, Annual Report and Pillar 3 report
· Provide key input into the completion of regulatory projects to ensure that changes resulting from these are correctly implemented
· Liaise closely with senior management to respond to ad-hoc regulatory requests
· Assist the multiple internal regulatory initiatives to ensure best use of capital resources going forward
· Provide business input for regulatory aspects of systems changes, especially in light of COREP implementation
· Liaise with stakeholders to ensure any potential process change impact is identified and adequately managed
· Ensure that process governance remains fit for purpose as change is implemented
· Maintain guidance documents and respond to questions from key stakeholders
· Provide expert advice on the regulatory implications of specific large value and complex transactions as an authoritative reference point for staff at all levels

Essential requirements include:

· Qualified accountant with regulatory reporting experience
· Strong knowledge of the PRA Capital Adequacy regime
· Broad knowledge of banking business and products

This role requires someone with experience of regulatory experience in a comparable organisation. You must be comfortable engaging regularly with senior stakeholders.
