Associate Director
This leading Investment Bank has recently restructured their Compliance Assurance and Monitoring coverage and as a consequence now seeks a Team Leader at AD level to manage a wide range of firm-wide assurance and monitoring programs.

They take a very robust approach to Compliance and Risk in order to ensure that they meet their regulatory obligations and uphold their status as one of the top investment banks in the world.
As a Team Leader in Assurance Monitoring, you will initially be involved in rolling out the new monitoring programme across EMEA operations. The wheels are already in motion to ensure the programme is implemented and under-way by the end of this year. The role is likely then to transition into assessing Horizon Risk, Regulatory Development and Change, ensuring that issues arising are incorporated into the Assurance Monitoring programme.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who enjoys working on multiple projects at once and has the ability to influence key decision makers within a large organisation to get behind your initiatives. That takes a great deal of confidence and a steadfast commitment to following through on your objectives.
Key qualifications required:
* 7+ years experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Operational Risk or Regulatory Consulting
* University Degree preferably with a post graduate / industry qualification such as: CISI, ACA or ACCA, MBA or MSc, IIA
* Very strong project management skills
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior members of staff effectively
* Excellent relationship building qualities and stakeholder management skills
* Detailed understanding of Compliance and the EU / UK Regulatory landscape
