Job Description DEGW is part of the AECOM group that works as an international consultancy that specialises in optimising the relationship between people and places to improve organisational performance. DEGW works as a trusted advisor with both local and leading global organisations to create transformational projects that create collective and strategic value. We require an established practitioner who can build the DEGW business within Queensland and the Northern Territory. DEGW's work requires a unique mix of strategic insight, real-world experience, design thinking and entrepreneurial energy. We are looking for people who want to participate in delivering exceptional service to our clients, who have a business consulting mindset, and who like to think beyond typical solutions. Key Responsibilities; Proven business development capability with a focus on building the local DEGW business, securing new projects and opportunities Ability to represent, build critical links and build consulting opportunities with local AECOM teams Ability to build, lead and develop local DEGW team Contribute to direction and delivery of the Business Plan through the DEGW Leadership Team Deliver unique, high quality strategic value to clients on each engagement through experience in combining people, place and performance Project management including capability to manage client relationships oversee/direct value, quality and profitability of work through consultant staff Support the management team by focussing on operational excellence and entrepreneurial thinking through the continued development of innovative solutions and delivery approaches Able to travel within and outside Australia for client work potentially on a regular basis Qualifications; Degree in social sciences, architecture, design, business, change management, or similar This position would suit someone with 7+ years experience in consulting, design, property or change work, and requires Understanding and experience of how place and people can impact organisational performance Business development capability and networks People coaching and development Project management
