Associate Director – ABS recruitment

Standard Poor's Credit Market Services is looking for highly skilled individuals to join its Structured Finance (securitisation) group in Europe at the Associate Director level. This position will join the ABS business area.

Responsibilities

· You will act as a senior New Issue rating analyst on new transactions that SP rate. As a New Issue analyst you will be responsible for analysing all aspects of new transactions, in particular the credit and structural risks and managing the execution process from engagement to rating assignment.

· You will also be expected to become an expert within the asset class and produce regular research pieces for both internal and external audiences. You will also be expected to contribute towards the development of new criteria and its publication and dissemination.

· You will be responsible for mentoring junior analysts within the team and will be expected to develop existing managerial skills.

· The role is a highly visible one, where you will interact with many participants in the structured finance market (issuers, investors, arrangers, intermediaries and other parties in the structured finance market). From time to time you will also be required to represent Standard Poors at industry conferences in a speaking and non-speaking capacity

Skills

· Previous experience of Structured Finance transactions, including assets, structures and underlying documentation is essential.
· A good understanding of consumer lending products including Credit Cards, Auto Loans, Consumer Loans and Leasing
· Experience of credit analysis within portfolios of consumer assets.
· Advanced numeracy skills and the ability to think analytically and to understand and evaluate complex issues;
· The ability to manage competing priorities and manage one's own time effectively;
· The ability to work under pressure and within a team;
