Associate Director, Banks, Transaction Banking recruitment
Key Roles Responsibilities
1. Work closely with OCC and global bank clients, manage and expand the inbound HK Payments/Cash Management/Trade Finance business originated via the global franchise
2. Proactively interact with both the client- and bank network to understand and build on global bank client requirements and opportunities
3. Originate and drive independently RMB offshore business, and identify opportunities in the Greater China market given the fast increasing RMB offshore business opportunities
4. Capture the fast increasing demand for RMB clearing from both private and central banks
5. Engage on the maintenance, development and new sales of the existing HK Re issuance business (e.g. Agency, Relay and Private Label)
6. Review and negotiate terms and conditions with clients while maximizing revenue and profitability
7. work closely with TAT Sales team on LC confirmation and direct presentation program
8. Ensure SCB group policy and local country regulations and compliance are clearly understood, considered and complied with by new accounts as well as existing accounts
9. Provide inputs to product solution on customer needs, trends market intelligence and assist in new product development
Qualifications Skills
1) University graduate with solid relevant commercial banking experience, preferably in cash and trade product sales for banks segment
2) Good understanding of the banking systems and operations
3) Sound knowledge in banking products, banking practices and regulations
4) Strong analytical skill with strategic thinking
5) Good project management and presentation skills
6) A team player with good interpersonal skills
7) Excellent business and commercial sense with a proactive approach to drive business growth
8) Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua advantage
