Associate Director – Business Development recruitment

Reporting to the Director Business Development, you will be a relationship farmer and act as the first point of contact between the organization and Clients. You will be the centre to our client’s ongoing operations and long term success. You will be responsible to develop and execute business strategies, business plans, sales and projects which propagate profitable business for the organization and for their clients. This role incorporates financial results accountability therefore requiring financial acumen and strong commercial focus from you. It is a multi-disciplined role which requires a broad understanding of payment and credit card products and services, whilst at the same time strong business development, communication and account management skills.

JOB SCOPE

Develop and achieve country plan objectives through client account management and business development efforts.

Establish and maintain positive, beneficial and constructive relationships with key client contacts and influence client preference for the organization through provision of valuable business solutions through product capabilities.

Facilitate and direct internal operations in response to specific client’s requests and ensure delivery of essential business support in line with growing organization’s share of wallet with the respective clients.

Achieve specific client product and volume targets. Participate in market analysis and local business development and/or product development strategy; develop and submit account and/or product plan.

Co-ordinate and present business development and product implementation opportunities to client

To qualify for the role you should have a

Degree in Business Management with more 8 years of sales experience, with an emphasis on account and relationship management, business consultation in the relevant industries.

Strong project management experience and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders/ management.

Must be result-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently and capable of delivering to specific deadlines.

Proven track record in negotiation and deal structuring.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of payments system and cards business.

Proficient in MS applications including Excel and Power Point required.
