Associate Director/ Director, Commodity Division recruitment

 Responsibilities:

1. To provide support to the overall growth of the commodity team portfolio by assessing and understanding the risk profiles of clients, and analyzing and reporting these risks internally within corporate bank division;

2. To conduct financial analysis of targeting clients using credit skills, spreading of accounts, ratio analysis, balance sheet and evaluation of security, evaluation of parent support policies, judgment of management and strategy;

3. Evaluation and understanding of risk associated with individual transactions, products and borrowers;

4. Prepare quality credit applications in partnership with relationship managers;

5. Participate regularly in account planning sessions to ensure familiarity of client business;

6. Visit/meet clients when required in order to achieve a clear understanding of credit risks;

7. Ensure that the approval procedures, standards of credit and maintenance, conform to controls/procedures established by head of credit for the business unit;

8. Assist sales force to monitor credit quality;

9. Ensure compliance with Bank’s policy and to ensure that Bank’s policy breaches are properly authorized at the correct senior approving level;

10. Provide high level of service to the internal customer base based on accuracy, responsiveness, and turnaround times;

11. Mitigate risk and highlight early warning signs of credit deterioration;

12. Assist compilation for Portfolio Reviews, Audit requests, and other requirements on the client portfolio as may be required.

Requirements:

1. University degree; with solid relevant business/finance/Accounting/Engineering training; MBA or overseas education considered as a plus;

2. With above 7 years relevant experience with foreign banks, local banks, multinational or Commodity corporate;

3. In-depth credit appraisal and financial analysis skills; good research abilities;

4. Good understanding of the economic, political and business environment of PRC;

5. Good knowledge of China SOE and the commodity market or other industry considered as a plus;

6. Good communication skills excellent teamwork spirit;

7. Good learning attitude/capacity, willing to work hard and under pressure, and keen to grow;

8. Excellent English speaking, English Writing and PC skills.
