Position Requirements:
Responsibilities:
• Analyze creditworthiness of a variety of non-profit health care credits including hospitals, hospital systems, specialty hospitals, nursing homes, and continuing care retirement communities
• Assign bond ratings on new transactions as well as maintain up to date surveillance on a portfolio of 40-50 credits
• Conduct onsite meetings and update calls
• Present analysis to FitchRatings's internal credit rating committee
• Communicate ratings and rating rationale to senior management and investors
• Write extensive credit reports as well as special reports on industry topics

Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree; knowledge of public finance and related job experience in the not-for-profit health care sector is desired
• Candidates should have at least five to seven years' experience in the analysis of healthcare creditworthiness
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with CFOs, CEOs, financial advisers, investment bankers, and research analysts; public speaking experience highly desirable
• Strong writing skills and familiarity with audited financial statements is required
• Moderate travel (10% - 20%) is also required
