Position Requirements:
Associate Director, Feed Products Team, IT Product Development

The IT Product Development Group within Fitch's IT department supports Fitch Solutions' Product Development group. As the leader of the Feed Products Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and offshore to deliver high-performing feed products that provide a wide range of financial and ratings data to our clients. The position reports to the Senior Director of Product Development and is based in New York City.

Responsibilities of this position are:
• Ensure that delivered product meets business' expectations
• Collaborate with Product Development, Internal IT Departments, Testing and Client Support teams to deliver high quality projects
• Coordinate business front-line technical support teams to provide production support, including off-hours
• Create architecture plans and communicate vision to various stakeholders
• Provide project status and resource estimates to senior IT leadership and PMO
• Mentor teams on best practices, programming frameworks and methodologies
• Identify opportunities and lead effort to improve system quality and availability

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related
• 5+ years of experience in delivering high-volume data feed products
• 3+ years leading development teams
• 3+ years working with Oracle PL-SQL
• 3+ years Java
• Good interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders, ranging from development teams to senior management
• Experience with large volumes of complex data
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Proven track record; self-starter
• Deep understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with offshore teams
• 10+ years total work experience

• Linux or Unix shell scripting experience
• Banking or Financial Services experience
• Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
• MongoDb or other NoSQL Database
