Associate Director FI Structured Finance
This team is focused on providing structured financing solutions to the UK Financial Institutions market encompassing Funds, Speciality Finance, Insurance and Brokers. Financing structures cover a diverse range of requirements from corporate driven MA to Capital Management. The team sits alongside the FI Coverage team and works hand in hand to deliver the optimal solutions to the client.
The successful candidate will be supporting the Directors in originating, structuring and executing a broad range of transactions across a number of diverse sub asset classes in the Speciality Finance Sector.
In addition to being fully involved in the entirety of the deal from origination through structuring / execution to its handover to Portfolio, a key focus of this unique role will be providing analytical and modelling support on data intensive transactions.
Candidates should be:-
*Highly capable in Excel and VBA modelling, preferably in Consumer Finance market with experience of structuring securitisations and/or warehouse debt facilities
*Able to manipulate, manage and interpret extremely large data sets (i.e. 50,000 mortgage assets) and produce insightful analysis from the data
*Experience of analysing complex financial information
*Knowledge of Corporate Finance, Debt Capital Markets and risk management techniques
*Experience of financial analysis, risk assessment, monitoring and control
*Excellent knowledge of credit processes with a good appreciation of credit assessment skills
