Associate Director Financial Market Sales (Bristol/Somerset) recruitment

Job description:

• Advising clients on market movements and risk hedging strategies for Interest rate, FX, Inflation and Commodities for the Bank’s commercial clients (up to £15m)

• Interact with commercial RM’s, Directors and clients to open new customers, source transactions and record deals on various bank systems

• Own area targets through proactive generation of sales leads from Commercial Client base and deal-closing from portfolio of existing customers

• Planning and sales support for the SW Regional Corporate Markets (Commercial) Desk

• Run initiatives for the desk to build the business

• Mentor juniors and team-members

• Comply with banks policies at all times

Skills required: Experience in a customer facing role with Corporate or Commercial clients, Understanding of Financial Markets/Risk Solutions

 Desirable: Relevant University Degree, FSA Qualified, Knowledge of Financial Markets and Derivatives 

Qualities: Numerate. Enthusiastic, Good communication and stakeholder management skills, Positive and helping attitude, Can work individually and in teams, Inclination to learn and grow.
