Associate Director Housing Association Team
Role Purpose
Working within the Debt Markets UK team principally to provide debt advisory services, treasury advice, funding advice and general market analysis to clients in the housing association sector. This person will be expected to get involved in other activities of the department as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating debt advisory activity and transactions
- Preparing and presenting pitches and reports to clients
- Preparing financial modelling and analysis
- Producing client briefing notes and analysis
- Advising clients on wider fundraising activities
- Conducting treasury advisory services for clients
- Loan and derivative valuation and restricting
- Liaison with other team members on transactions where necessary
Experience Required:
- Previous experience gained in either a treasury, debt advisory or corporate finance environment
- Previous Housing Association experience preferable, gained either in a financial control, treasury or business development function
- Communication with senior level executives and client boards through client pitches and mandate execution
- Good knowledge of transaction processes including the documents involved
- General understanding of financial markets and accounts
- Knowledge of relevant regulations preferred, both financial services and housing associations
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills

- Proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with both clients and colleagues

- Highly numerate
The person will need to become FSA registered.
