Associate Director, Liquidity Management recruitment
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for daily cash management, cash forecasting and cash investment activity, including placing cash into the money markets and operating borrowing facilities. The key objective is to minimize cash-on-hand, maximize cash available for investment. (40% of time)
• Will assist in the roll-out of the SAP Treasury Management System and operationalizing its functionality. Establish a business process model for liquidity management. (20% of time)
• Will be primarily responsible for managing and using the SWIFT interface at Group Centre – Treasury for the daily reconciliation of bank accounts and the timely communication with the banks for investment and FX transactions. (10% of time)
• Collaborate to share SAP Treasury Management System experience with country-level finance teams as part of future roll-outs. (10% of time)
• Provide support to the Treasury Team, have an excellent approach to working within a team environment, demonstrate the ability to build relationships and positively influence people both internally and as part of our relationship with our external partners. (20% time)
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
Job Requirements:
• Experience in the Treasury department in a multinational organization, preferably within an international head office
• University Degree (Finance/ Business is a plus but not required)
• Experience in large corporate treasury– minimum 5 years
• Knowledge and understanding of cash management, including cash concentration, disbursement and reconciliation.
• Experience in dealing with Hong Kong and/or Asia banking transaction desks
• Ability and experience in building liquidity forecasts and long-term liquidity planning
• Experience in deposit and FX transactions, settlements and payments
• SWIFT user experience is a plus
• SAP knowledge or experience is a plus
• Experience with process flow mapping and conceptualizing a business process
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, experience with standard office software
• Personable with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus.
