Associate Director – OTC Operations (LTD0741) recruitment
Responsibilities:
Role
- Management and development of staff to ensure they can meet the challenges of the business.
- Provide ongoing OTC derivatives operations expertise to existing staff to ensure that they are fully able to support their clients across all aspects of the derivatives trade lifecycle
- Manage requests from clients for changes to existing processes including drafting the proposal, dealing with the technology development team and working on costs
- Lead and support technical development projects for OTC
- Act as liaison between the client and the production team in India to ensure client satisfaction and work to build and maintain positive, effective relationships.
- Work closely with other departments within GlobeOp to ensure the role of OTC Operations is understood.
- Serve as a senior point of escalation on matters and processes and resolve ad hoc client requests.
- Network within the industry to ensure GlobeOp stays a breast of industry/regulatory developments.
- Suggest and implement process improvements and utilize technology to improve efficiency and client satisfaction
- Review operational processes and improve controls within the OTC to assist Director in ensuring successful ISAE3402 / SSAE 16 annual reviews.
- Deputise for Director during their absence.
Prospective and new clients
- Assist with and provide presentations to prospective clients re the OTC services offering.
- Provide support to Director on preparing responses on RFPs and due diligence as required
- Lead or assist in devising successful implementation plans for new clients and ensure any implementations take place on time, are executed to a high standard and progress reported to key stakeholders
- Work to understand the GobeOp service offering.
- Ensure you understand the clients, their motivations, approach and any key issues and match GlobeOp service accordingly.
- Work to build strong relationships with clients and industry peers.
Required Skills
Job skills/requirements include:
- Demonstrable people management and development skills
- Experience in managing OTC operations
- Knowledge of the OTC Derivatives processing industry – ISDA, DTCC, MarkitWire, Central Clearing etc.
- Track record of successful OTC operation system design and implementation
- Demonstrated track record of strong client service
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to consistently deliver results within strict timelines
- Project management experience
- Good client relationship management experience
- Pro active, helpful, effective, positive, excellent under pressure, confident and knowledgeable in the OTC field
