About our Client
Our client is a well established regional private equity firm with over USD4 billion in capital under management. They target companies within the consumer, retail, and manufacturing sectors for strategic growth investments.
Job Description
- This individual will be involved in the entire investment process including identification, analysis, and execution of investments in private companies across China.
- The candidate will gather and synthesize industry/market data, build detailed financial models, participate in due diligence with management and external advisors, and be the primary supervisor of preliminary and final investment memorandums for internal meetings.
- The candidate will work closely with experienced investment professionals and will assist in the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities across industries and throughout all levels of the capital structure.
The Successful Applicant
- 5-6 years total experience with a mixture of investment banking, management consulting or big four accounting plus 2-3 years experience in private equity
- Demonstrated academic and leadership success - Top quartile GPA along with honors, achievements, strong test scores, team captain or class president or similar
- Mastery of MA/LBO financial modeling (case study will be provided at interview)
- Be a team player with integrity and strong work ethic
- Be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of valuation, finance and accounting
- Excellence at oral and written communication, native Chinese with fluent English
