Processing/Reconciliation
- Process trades in a timely manner
- Resolve issues and handle queries from internal and external clients, and from external parties
- Perform tasks in accordance with procedures and policies
- Reconciliation of cash/nostro breaks and suspense items.
Ad hoc run-the bank projects
- Review process efficiency and deliver improvements
- Participate in UAT
- Exception Processing
- Projects, assignments relating to Run-the-bank activities
Risk and Control
- Adhere to the Risk and Control Framework as set out by the bank especially those pertaining to Operations.
Work experience requirements
Profile of Candidate
- Experience in private bank operations with 5 to 10 years of experience.
- Possess market knowledge in Securities with Fixed Income/Structured Product being an asset .
- Proactive in identifying any process gaps, providing or suggesting solutions to improve productivity.
- Ability to perform ad-hoc system testing and participate throughout the discussion and implementation of the bank's initiatives.
Academic and professional qualifications
- Good certificate of education, and a good academic track record
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Language Skills
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Clear written verbal communication skills with all levels of staff
Personal attributes
- Ability to work independently drive initiatives forward until delivery.
- Ability to work effectively with both Front Office and Support staff, at all levels.
- Organisational skills and ability to work as an integral part of a larger team.
- Versatile approach and the ability to handle a varied portfolio of initiatives and a high workload.
- Ability to work deliver under time pressure.
