The team
Institutional Lending Transformation - TRANSFORM Program
You will work within a team that has been created to provide end to end analysis to support the Institutional Banking team as it redesigns its end to end lending processes (ILT Project). The redesign will include people, process and technology.
You will:
Be the Subject Matter Expert and support the ILT Project Delivery Executive (PDE) to play an integral role in the E2E analysis and design of new lending processes by providing lending subject matter expertise.
More specifically you will:
- Work with business analysts to devise the project approach and the associated activities
- Participate in the overall development of team members by sharing lending subject matter expertise
- Ensures the PDE is informed of all activities/opportunities, and where necessary escalate issues/problems quickly
- Effectively liaise with stakeholders (in particular other SMEs) to identify their needs and concerns and understand the environment within which they operate
- Jointly Lead and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and appropriate parties
- Apply a subject matter expert lens to the process of gathering, organising and synthesizing large amounts of information from various sources
- Identifies recommends solutions to business requirements
- Observes construction implementation of models and is accountable for quality meeting project requirements
- Reviews market research for service quality research
- Identify risk, gaps and shortcomings in the proposed solutions - particularly in terms of their commercial and risk effectiveness
- Assess the solution to be deployed has met the original need and the performance and effectiveness of the solution
- Work with Business Analysts to build KPI measurement into Workflow tool and devise KPIs for the new Middle Office and target processes
- Prepare appropriate documentation and materials to manage transition of knowledge from project to business as usual teams (could include business and technology deliverables)
You are:
- An experienced executive within Banking with a Business undergraduate qualification
- Motivated and engaged, with strong domain expertise /deep understanding of Commercial or Institutional Lending product and the extended suite of related products (including Multi Option Facility , contingent liabilities; overdrafts, asset finance, trade) gained with extensive experience in banking in product/coverage roles.
- Commercially focused and pragmatic problem solving skills and ability to drive clarity of requirements in a complex environment.
- Able to liaise constructively with multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborative with team members and meet joint delivery objectives in a project environment.
- Able to present and translate process and technical concepts to a senior business audience with strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experienced in working in a high pressure environment and able to manage multiple tasks and meet required deadlines.
