Reporting to the Head of Transaction Banking Secured Lending, within our Retail Banking unit, you will execute and design appropriate deposit and channel products to meet the bank's designated target and to maintain the competitiveness/niche position of the bank through collaboration with sales and other functional divisions. This job assists in reaching the bank's designated target with regards to sales volume, sales revenue and AUA through delivering the right products in the right time.
The role focuses on increasing the total profit contribution of Deposit products to Retail Bank by directly supporting growth in sales, FUM and revenues. This will comprise planning, developing and executing the Deposit product, marketing and pricing initiatives in accordance with the agreed business plan. The candidate will define the value proposition for Retail Deposits customers that reflect customers' real needs, attitudes and behaviours.
Additionally, you will work towards developing and implementing new product initiatives to support the business proposition and uplift Bank's market competitiveness. It is imperative to conduct thorough and proper due diligence on product providers and products. Collaborating being the key, you will engage with functional areas such as sales, marketing and operations to lead the launch of new product and ensure compliance, legal and regulatory requirements are fulfilled. You will also work with key channel partners such as Segment and Marketing to ensure they are supported with appropriate product collateral, client insight, data analytics and recognition programs.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge in Deposit and/or channel products, pricing, spreads client segments
- Extensive experience in management reporting and understanding of core PL business drivers.
- Around 8 years of Retail product development
- Excellent English and Chinese language skills will be required.
- High level of analytical capability and skill with data manipulation.
