Our current opportunity is based in Washington, DC.
As a critical member of the Information Systems Network Operations team, the Director or Associate Director, Network Operations will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of systems and processes to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the company's technical infrastructure, supporting over 1800 associates in eight offices. The employee will also assist in architectural and solutions design and will mentor other IS Team members. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, along with solid leadership, communications skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of a complex project.

- Microsoft SQL servers
- Microsoft SCCM
- Microsoft SharePoint servers
- Citrix XenApp
- VMWare vSphere
- Cisco Networking
- Cisco VoIP (CallManager and Unity)
- Microsoft OCS
- Multisite MPLS WAN
- VPN connectivity including point-to-point and remote access
- Primarily Microsoft desktops and laptops
Responsibilities:
- Project management, including responsibility for technical work, communications, and coordination with various technical and non-technical employees.
- Configure and maintain servers and processes across multiple environments, including monitoring of system health and performance, automating regular processes, scheduling upgrades, and assisting with delivery issues.
- Research, troubleshoot, track issues, and document changes to various parts of the infrastructure platforms and networks.
- Planning, set up and integration of remote offices
- Serve as a point person to analyze, solve and support customer issues.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR LEVEL
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in Microsoft infrastructure platform administration
- Basic familiarity with Cisco IOS and/or Cisco VoIP technology
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting and finding solutions to a complex problem
- Ability to organize and act as the primary resource on implementation efforts
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing and interrupt-driven environment
- Ability to communicate ideas and expectations effectively by e-mail, phone, and in person
- Experience working within a team environment
DIRECTOR LEVEL
Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in Microsoft and Cisco platform administration
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to manage and lead large-scale projects from inception to implementation
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting and finding solutions to a complex problem
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to communicate ideas and expectations effectively
- Experience working within a team environment
