KPMG’s Transaction Services is the chosen business partner for many of the world's leading organisations. Our Transaction Services unit work with both corporate, MNC and private equity clients to provide buy-side merger, acquisition, and sell-side divestiture support, focusing on stakeholder value by identifying key risks and benefits early in the transaction life cycle. This support includes pre-bid assessments, transaction evaluation, transaction advisory services and post deal assistances.
Our Strategic and Commercial Intelligence (SCI) practice within the Transaction Services unit provides advice on entry and growth strategy, commercial and operational due diligence and portfolio synergies, in connection with our clients’ MA activities.
Openings are available for Associate Directors with the relevant experience. The successful candidate will be:

working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to address complex market and strategic issues on behalf of major corporate, public sector and private equity clients.

preparing research frameworks, team/project planning, conducting and/or leading teams to conduct both primary and secondary research to help our clients assess the impact of market dynamics, channel distribution analysis, the competitive and customer environment for target companies, potential partners or markets.

conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, market modelling, as well as preparing reports and presentations for client deliverables.
- contributing to proposal development and marketing initiatives for business development.

mentoring and coaching staff.
- providing strong leadership and direction to staff.
The ideal candidate should:
- have 7 to 10 years of relevant working experience
- have a strong academic background.
- have an understanding of research methodologies, particularly B2B; knowledge of B2C would also be useful.
- be experienced in market modelling and forecasting techniques would be an added advantage.
- possess strong analytical, business acumen and project management skills.
Personality traits leading to a good fit into the team include independence, innovation and resourceful thinking with strong interpersonal, organisational, presentation and writing skills. A naturally inquisitive mind with an ability to think “outside the box” is preferred. Teamwork, strong project management skills are also a necessity.
Spoken and written knowledge of Mandarin, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia or Thai would be advantageous.
