The Opportunity

 

CWFC’s Benshaw Division is searching for an Associate Electrical Engineer to be based in our Pittsburgh, PA location.  The candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with 0-2 years of experience.   Benshaw is a world leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced industrial motor controls and drives.  Benshaw’s custom engineering, integration, retrofit and modernization services are utilized within Power systems and motor starting studies, control integration, Engineered application specific controls, Turnkey retrofit solutions, and Project management for large scale modernization initiatives.  With production facilities across North America and beyond Benshaw is widely recognized as a world leader in mission critical control and protection.

 

 

 

Essential Responsibilities

 

·          Developing new products, sustaining existing products, and working on corrective actions.

·          Interaction between employees in the office and on the production floor on a variety of engineering issues.

·          Will use an inventory system to produce bills of materials.

·          Be responsible for scheduling his/her own work and must work with little to no supervision. 

·          Work with customers to solve new and complex problems.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 

·          Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

·          0-2 years in a related field

·          Internship or co-op in industrial motor control industry highly desirable

·          Must have Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience

·          Excellent communication skills
