This role is with the Equity Trading desk of CIB Center. The position will report to the Head of ETF/Program trading desk in New York and requires the individual to make markets in ETFs, manage risk and develop and backtest various quantitative strategies for hedging purposes.

Role responsibilities:

CIB Center is seeking to hire qualified candidates to work within the Equity trading desk. The trader would be involved in a host of activities and functions including:
• Make markets in ETFs including leveraged ETFs
• Design and manage market making algorithms
• Trade seed positions
• Rebalance books
• Price Lead Market Making ETFs
• Develop relationships with brokers
• Manage risk of the book
• Develop and backtest quantitative strategies to hedge risk of program trading baskets

Requirements:

• Strong academic background
• Senior hire with prior program trading and/or ETF trading experience
• Series 7, 63 and 55
• Strong quantitative and programming skills
• Ability, attitude and temperament to deliver in a high pressure environment is an absolute must
