Associate-Finance recruitment

Work on teams providing financial advice to financial institutions on MA transactions, capital raising, and other complex financial transactions. Supervise and coordinate the work of analysts on the team while coordinating with senior bankers and various product experts throughout the firm. Analyze accounting and regulatory statements, debt and equity filings and documents, MA agreements and documents, and financial projections and models as prepared in various formats by clients. Build and review financial models including operating models, MA and LBO valuations and models, incorporating corporate finance concepts, GAAP (or foreign equivalent) principles, and regulatory requirements. Present to executives (CEO, CFO, etc.) of financial institution clients on MA, corporate strategy and financing alternatives. Preparing presentation materials and offering memoranda for client related activity. Perform detailed industry analysis and research in financial institutions sector. 40 hrs/wk; M-F; 9am-6pm; $168,418/year.

Requires Master’s Degree (U.S. or equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field. Position requires 3 years of experience if Master’s or 5 years of experience if Bachelor’s in the job offered or related professional experience involving analytical and quantitative work. Prior work experience must include three (3) years with Master's or five (5) years with Bachelor's: Analyzing income and cash flow statements and balance sheets to model and analyze cash flows, growth, margins, and finance-specific metrics; using corporate finance concepts to develop valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, and option valuation; understanding roles, timing, deliverables and scope of work for clients in multi-functional projects; and utilizing quantitative ability to build operating models. FINRA Series 79 eligible. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
