Associate – Financial Accountant, Commodities Trading House recruitment
Our client, a Leading commodities trading house which is currently expanding its Finance division in Singapore, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the dynamic team.
The Finance function has responsibility for full financial control of the business. This includes: financial accounting in accordance with relevant accounting standards, management and statutory reporting.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Maintain statutory financial accounts
- Prepare financial management reports
- Carry out analysis of various accounts
- Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Support the statutory accounts preparation, cash-flow management as well as the budgeting and forecasting process
- Liaise with tax agents and auditors
Experience required
- Background in audit strongly preferred
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- ACCA/CPA/CA qualified
- 5 or more years working experience
- Flexible attitude towards working hours and taking on ad-hoc tasks
- Should be willing to travel
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Must be based in Singapore currently
