Associate – Financial Institutions Ratings recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Manage company and debt ratings for a portfolio of Financial Institutions based in Australia and New Zealand
- Collect and analyse information and data necessary for rating determination
- Make recommendations to the rating committee
- Prepare materials for ratings publication
- Assist in undertaking industry analysis and industry sector commentaries
Required:
- Degree qualified in commerce, finance, or accounting
- Post graduate studies in finance well regarded
- Over four years experience in the financial services industry
- Self-driven, energetic and proactive
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Good understanding of financial markets and the business environment
- Proven analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, global, multi-cultural environment
- Ability to travel
Preferred:
- Previous experience in analysing financial institutions.
- Past experience with a financial institutions regulator.
- Candidates with a treasury, capital management or risk management background within a financial institution
