Associate, Fund Administration recruitment

Our wide range of mutual fund and separate account strategies are primarily sold to financial intermediaries across the U.S.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Calculate expense payments, allocate invoices and create expense authorizations, including oversight of entries and expense worksheets.

• Review bank records and reconcile expense payments and accruals.

• Assist with the review of various fund expense invoices from service providers.

• Track and report details of the Funds for quarterly board reporting and annual contract renewal materials

• Prepare and maintains various internal and external Fund reports.

• Research discrepancy issues between Fund Administrators and custodian bank(s).

• Prepare or review Expense Budgets for the Funds, and prepare adjusting entries.

• Prepare monthly expense analyses for affiliated subadvisors.

• Oversee Managers Interfund Lending program

• Monitor large trades; interact with the bank and subadvisors.

• Monitor cash balances, place money market fund trades as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform other administrative tasks and projects as requested.

• File invoices, reports and electronic filings as need.

• Assist in certain year-end tax and shareholder reporting responsibilities as needed

• Support the mutual fund modeling department as needed.

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports for the Funds as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:    

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, accounting or finance preferred.

• One to three years mutual fund reporting and/or fund administration experience
