Associate HR Representative

Title: Associate HR Representative Department/Organization: Human Resources Reports To (Name Title): Manager, Human Resources Location: Pittsburgh FLSA Status: Exempt Job Description Overview The Associate HR Representative has shared global responsibility for many processes as it relates to employee information. In addition to owning and maintaining accurate information, this role coordinates reporting and information flow with many other parts of the organization. Developing new ways to analyze and report key trends, monthly will be a significant part of the role. The Associate HR Representative will also work closely with IT to continuously improve system capability and information flow to other parts of the organization. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for entering and auditing changes to employee information Interact and coordinate with global HR organization Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and with management Work with IT, HR leaders and business to develop new and useful ways to report data Interact with payroll and recruiting teams on a daily basis to ensure accurate and timely flow of data Work as a team to ensure accurate and timely performance of payroll functions Assist in management of other HR programs including but not limited to: education reimbursement Engage in project related work as assigned Ability to assist the Shared Services Team with general benefits and stock programs inquires Basic Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge Proficiency in other Microsoft Office products: PowerPoint, Word and Outlook Excellent oral and written communication skills and public relations abilities Accurate and attentive to detail Well organized Ability to write and speak Spanish fluently Preferred Qualifications Ability to write and speak Portuguese Knowledge of methods, practices, terminology and procedures used in human resources administration Sarbanes-Oxley understanding Financial acumen PeopleSoft HRIS experience Ariba, Inc. is an EEO/Affirmative Action employer and does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected category.
