Payroll Administration
- Administer employees' payroll for Singapore Office
- Ensure accurate update of employees’ data in payroll system
- Ensure all monthly payments/deductions are balanced against source documents
- Accurate and timely transmission of monthly payroll to staff accounts via external bank
- Accurate and timely submission of monthly payroll General Ledger report to
- Accurate and timely transmission of CPF contributions to CPF Board
- Generate payroll related reports as and when required by Management
- Handle payroll-related enquiries
Income Tax/ CPF
- Prepare yearly IR8E/ IR8S/ Appendix 8A/ Appendix 8B for submission to tax authority
- Monitor the refund of excess CPF contribution on additional wages
- Handle tax clearance for local employees and short-term assignees
- Handle CPF and tax related queries from employees / regulators
Quasi-Expatriate / Locals Tax Benefits Administration
- Collate salary data for quasi-expatriate/ locals tax reporting
- Handle related queries from employees / tax consultant
- Ensure timely reporting of employment income to tax authority
Leavers Process
- Compute final compensation statements for leavers (resignation)
- Prepare Tax Clearance (IR21) for leavers who are foreigners
- Arrange payment of tax clearance and remittance of withholding monies to employees
Yearly Budgetary Forecast Exercises
- Assist to collate staff cost data for yearly budgetary forecast exercises
- Liaise with Finance Control staff on issues relating to staff cost budget
Compensation Review Process (CRP)
- Assist in the “cleaning” process of COMPAS/ CRP database
- Reports management
- Prepare payment listing for payroll and issuance of letters to employees
Statistics/ Surveys/ Reports
- CPF/ MOM/ MAS surveys
- Administer ad-hoc reports and surveys when required
Pre-requisites:
- Tertiary educated
- Possess knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
- Possess knowledge of local taxation rules
- Understand HR processes and procedures
- Attention to details and accuracy with numbers
- Strong sense of confidentiality and ethics
- Possess good communication skills able to work well in a team
- Able to plan, prioritize and deliver
