Associate – Industrials/Technology M&A Corporate Finance recruitment
A leading boutique investment bank with 10+ offices located throughout the world and looking for an Associate to join their MA team in London. The candidate will have specific knowledge/experience in sub-sectors such as capital goods, high-tech engineering, aerospace and defence and technology. The company has 40+ staff in London and the industrials team have recently won 3 mandates, hence the need to hire.
They focus on MA transactions valued upto £1bn and generally work with large corporates rather than financial sponsors. They have built long-standing relationships with their clients and therefore they are guaranteed repeat business. They count ABB, Siemens, Philips, ThyssenKrupp and BAE among their clients and due to growth they are looking for additional resources.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of MA/investment banking experience gained from a bulge bracket investment bank, leading boutique or blue chip private equity fund.
- Client-facing, good communicator, confident, well-presented and fluent in English.
- Knowledge of the Industrials investment banking space, ideally would have worked in the sector previously and will have completed deals in this space specifically engineering, capital goods, aerospace and defence and technology.
- Can produce IMs, financial valuations using DCF, LBO and merger models in excel.
- Candidates will have the right to work in the EU.
