Responsibilities
- Market new clients and maintain relationships with old clients.
- Financing modeling, capital structure analysis, structuring, financial statement analysis.
- Conducting Due Diligence. Assess information required to perform all pertinent analyses and to compose transaction-related documents; compile information request lists and track the information gathered; assist investors in their due diligence process.
- Conduct Research. Research current and prospective clients, comparable issuers and transactions, and monitor the capital markets.
- Drafting Transaction-Related Documents. Draft or review disclosure documents, cover memoranda, and other communications with clients and investors.
- Preparing Client Proposals and Presentations. Compile and prepare appropriate marketing and rating agency materials, conduct the necessary analysis, and incorporate the assembled information into client proposals; supervise production and distribution.
- Oversee execution of transactions.
- Travel when required to client meetings and presentations
- Managing Junior Analysts. Assign tasks to junior analysts, check the accuracy of their work, provide guidance and training.
- Participate in other projects as requested by management.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S.
- Series 7 and/or 52 and 63 must be obtained within the first 90 days.
- Some additional educational work, degree, certificate in related field (i.e. CPA, CFA or MBA).
- Financial Modeling. Build detailed, fully-integrated financial models to construct financial projections and test their feasibility, analyze the impact of proposed transaction options on the capital structure, cash flows, debt service requirements, compliance with financial covenants, tax implications and differences in tax treatments, etc.
- Financial Statement Analysis. Analyze financial statements and related data to assess historical financial performance, current condition and future outlook for clients and prospects.
- Strong analytical and written skills.
- Solid working knowledge of financial accounting.
- Computer proficient – (Excel, Word, PPT).
