Associate-Intermediate-Finance recruitment

Lead a team of associates and analysts to review, develop and structure diverse financing transactions, including equity, debt and other capital raising alternatives; MA, restructuring, asset and liability management; and other investment banking services. Mentor and train junior team members on financial, accounting and client interaction skills. Manage day to day client interaction to develop and execute strategies for companies and institutions to capitalize on asset value. Develop and present to senior client management market overview and valuation presentations and advice on corporate strategy and financial matters. Oversee the performance of complex financial and regulatory due diligence on capital structure, funding quality and asset quality and development of strategies for managing liquidity, funding, investment and other financial risks. 40 hrs/wk; M-F; 9am-6pm; $200,000/year.

Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) or Bachelor’s Degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration or a related field plus three (3) years experience required with Master’s Degree or five (5) years experience required with Bachelor’s degree in the job offered or in a related investment banking position. Prior experience must include three (3) years: analyzing accounting and regulatory statements for financial services companies;; building and reviewing financial models including operating models, MA and LBO valuations and models for banks, insurance companies, and other financial services companies, incorporating corporate finance concepts, GAAP (or foreign equivalent) principles, and regulatory requirements; and facilitating execution of complex financial transactions for financial institution clients by managing multi-party processes. Must also include one (1) year: engaging in client prospecting for advisory services; identifying opportunities and developing structured financing of various financial assets and liabilities of insurance companies and other financial institutions, and capital markets execution thereof. NASD FINRA Series 7 license required. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
