Associate-Intermediate-Sales recruitment

Establish, develop and enhance relationships with Canadian and US Institutional and Hedge Fund clients. Develop, present and commercialize equity investment recommendations. Significant travel to meet with current and prospective clients. 40 hrs/wk; M-F; 9am-6pm; $250,000/year.

Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Business, Finance or a related field OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Business, Finance or a related field. If Master’s degree, three (3) years experience in the job offered or in a related Equity or Financial Sales position. If Bachelor’s degree, five (5) years experience in the job offered or in a related Equity or Financial Sales position. Prior experience must include Three (3) years experience (with Master's) or five years experience (with Bachelor's) must include assisting manage relationships at PM and CIO level with global fund managers in Canada and US; collaborating in real-time with colleagues worldwide; and assisting research, present and commercialize customized client solutions. In addition, two (2) years experience with Masters or four (4) years experience with Bachelors must include assisting market global public offerings and private placements in compliance with US and Canadian securities regulations; analyzing and applying global product knowledge of corporate finance, cash equities, equity derivatives, index futures, structured notes, foreign exchange derivatives, global investment research, equity origination and syndication, merger arbitrage, cross-asset structure, exotic derivatives and distressed securities to assist develop investment recommendations; analyzing client needs and considering market factors to provide investment recommendations focusing on Canadian, American, European and Asian securities; FINRA Series 7, 63; and Canadian New Entrants Exam. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
