Associate, Investor Services/Client On-boarding (Investor Transactions) Investment Management recruitment
We are seeking exceptionally motivated, highly focused fund services and investor services professionals for these very challenging opportunities. These positions are at the junior (1 - 3 years) to mid level (4 - 8).
We are seeking candidates that have at least 1, but preferably between 2 and 8 years’ experience working specifically within investor services, investor relations, fund services, fund administration, transfer agency, custody, or those with closely related buy side or other closely related transactional experience with exceptional understanding of and hands-on experience with investor/fund services processes including: investor on-boarding, subscriptions, due diligence, KYC, AML, redemptions, fund offering memorandums, RFP's, etc. (Understanding of all is "not" required). Candidates for these positions must have a strong track record of process improvement.

This position will:
- Work cohesively with all parties (internal and external 3rd parties) to process as well as ensure efficient and accurate processing of subscriptions, redemptions, wires, etc.
- Assist in the fund launch and fund closure process.
- Investor communications.
- Monitor fund and shareholder compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements (ERISA, annual fund audits, insurance schedules, AML, Blue Sky, etc).
- Liaise and collaborate with fund service providers, custodians, etc. and hold them accountable for providing exceptional services.
- Perform QC functions to ensure all group processes and procedures are adhered to and performed excellently.
- Maintain shareholder registries and records, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sorry, there is no sponsorship or visa transfer available for this position.
- Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree with a competitive cumulative GPA.
- Unafraid to speak up amongst differing opinions to ensure only the best, highest quality processes are developed and implemented; process innovator. High level of personal accountability.
- At least one, but preferably 2 – 7 years hands-on experience with the processing of investor transactions (redemptions, subscriptions, wires) - highly preferred; however, will consider those candidates from treasury oversight positions, other alternative investment investor on-boarding positions that have experience with some of the above transactions/documents, those with experience overseeing or managing relationships with third parties (transfer agencies, fund administrators, etc.) or those with transfer agency experience. Highly prefer candidates with some exposure to or experience with fund documentation and the RFP process
- Demonstrated process improvement experience. (Process improvements need to be clearly noted on the resume).
- Experience with Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ's), Offering Memorandums, and RFP's preferred, but not absolutely required.
- Sense of urgency, constant drive towards excellence, and very strong client service mentality
