Associate – M&A
Our client, a leading Investment Bank with teams based in New York, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo is actively looking to hire a talented individual to join the London MA Advisory team to help originate and execute business in Europe. There is also an opportunity to be involved in cross boarder opportunities. This role will work as part of a growing team evaluating MA targets and supporting the projects managing the deal pipe line. The majority of clients are Asian firms wishing to explore opportunities to make acquisitions in Europe.
• Managing relationships with MA Managers and deal teams
• Creating pitches and pitching clients
• Whilst the primary focus will be on deal execution, there will be some opportunity to originate business in France
• Evaluating target opportunities and modelling company valuations
• Review of all legal documents associated with the MA process
We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in an MA environment. You will have been through an Investments Bank's Analyst programme and have extensive experience of pitching for business and analysing transactions. Of particular value would be exposure to the French market.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Relevant Business Degree
• Exposure to French MA Market
• Good connections with French Banks, Boutique MA Firms and Private Equity Funds
• Preference French speaker.
Experience of:
• Creating pitches and pitching clients.
• Deal execution.
• Evaluating target opportunities and modelling company valuations
• Reviewing of all legal documents associated with the MA process
