TITLE:     Associate Marketing Gift Card Manager                                                        DEPARTMENT:   Marketing

   

 

BASIC FUNCTION

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Associate Marketing Gift Card Manager is responsible for a variety of Marketing Department projects including: developing and implementing gift card sales marketing programs, development of in-store collateral, web social media promotions updates, email/website development, content management, Q/A results analysis.  The Associate Marketing Gift Card Manager will also manage budgets and spending for the projects he/she oversees.

 

Job Scope

 

1.      Gift Card Marketing Sales

Develop and oversee restaurant corporate gift card sales marketing programs

·         Develop and execute gift card marketing programs for restaurants and corporate sales.  Maintain and grow B2B e-mail list.  Make recommendations for growing sales from new and existing customers. 

·         Monitor gift card sales.  Report on and analyze results. Recommend future enhancements.

·         Work with Director of Marketing to implement and market virtual gift cards.

 

Operation maintenance of general gift card sales

·         Manage and maintain efficient gift card sales systems and procedures.

·         Work with web and fulfillment companies to ensure cost-effective and efficient systems are in place for securing and tracking plastic and virtual gift card sales. 

·         Monitor/maintain gift card inventory.  Oversee gift card reprints; recommend changes as necessary.

·         Provide customer service - answering questions, providing information, placing orders as needed and resolving Guest issues.

·         Track sales on daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.

 

2.      Social Media, Website, Online Content E-Marketing

·         Work with web and social media agencies to keep websites/OpenTable/Yelp/Facebook pages current and accurate for Black Angus and BullsEye Bar brands. Recommend promotion opportunities through these and other social media vehicles.

·         Take a proactive role in website and Facebook evolution and on-line promotions; draft copy and oversee creative development.

·         Work with web and creative agencies to develop and implement corporate and local emails.

·         Analyze website and email statistics and track email redemptions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.      BullsEye Bar Events Promotions

·         Participate in the evolution, development and implementation of annual BullsEye Bar marketing programs and contests. 

 

4.      Restaurant Contests Incentive Programs

·         Develop and implement restaurant sales contests, including “Think Drink” and Holiday Gift Card Sales contest; work with IT department to develop efficient ways to monitor and report on results.

 

5.      Other projects assigned by the Director of Marketing, including but not limited to:

·         Press releases and PR activities for new store openings and other newsworthy events.

·         Implementation of annual holiday promotions (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving).

·         Evolution of the Local Steakhouse Marketing Toolkit.

2.      Experience

·         Basic knowledge of print production process; experience working with designers and printers.

·         Experience working with social media -- Facebook, Four Square, Yelp, etc.

·         Demonstrated ability to write simple proposals and creative copy.

·         3-5 years of marketing or advertising agency experience strongly preferred.

·         Chain restaurant or multi-unit retail marketing experience helpful.

·         Undergraduate Degree.
