Our Client wishes to recruit a mechanical and electrical building-services (MEP/ME) Associate Director. You will be responsible for the profitable expansion of Manchester for one of Europe's leading building-services engineering consultancies. You must have excellent connections and client relationships within the North-West/Manchester area. Our client's principle interest is developing the North West and wishes to enter into discussions with leading director or partner-level candidates who feel that they would be able to take a leading role in this process. Any finalist candidates must have outstanding engineering experience and be recognised as a leader in their field.
About the Client:
Our Client is a European building services (MEP/ME) consultancy. They are a multi-disciplinary consultancy with a large engineering services business.
About the Role:
Directly helping the regional Managing Director grow and manage the operations of the business within the North West, especially, Manchester.
This is not an out-and-out business-development role as you will be expected to help manage the operations of the branch;
You lead a team on a variety of projects, in the public sector (health and education) and commercial new-build developments;
The average size of the building-services project consulted upon will be £5m.
About the Candidate:
You must be a mechanical or electrical building-services professional;
Ideally, you will have a previous background working within a major building-services (MEP) consulting firm as a building-services (MEP) as chartered Engineer - mechanical or electrical;
You will have experience at a divisional Director/Partner level or in a board-of-director role on major projects up to and exceeding £5m.
You will have strong fee-generating connections within the Manchester working with blue-chip clients;
You will show how you currently have autonomy to grow the fee income with Clients and the profitable success of this work;
You will have managed fee incomes and accounts from FTSE 100/250 firms.
