The following are the responsibilities and duties of the Associate Director, Print. This is not an all-inclusive list and will vary by account assignment.
The PHD Print Team
The PHD Print team is a full service planning and buying group responsible for all aspects of the print process including the following:
· Print plan development, including integrated programs across multiple platforms
• Accountable for overall negotiation, investment and stewardship of client funds
• Competitive insights and expertise on marketplace intelligence (current news, trending, forecasting)
Role
The Associate Media Director is expected to oversee all Print Strategy, working closely with the planning and other investment teams to ensure a final integrated product is delivered to the client, consisting of best in class print related ideas. This person should oversee all negotiations (taking the lead role on the bigger programs) and have strong print vendor relationships in the community. He/she should act as the liaison between the media community, planning groups and the clients. This is a hands-on leader role that requires balancing between delegating responsibly and ownership of executing deliverables on time, on budget, and with attention to quality. This role sets the tone for the team in terms of establishing priorities, morale, energy level, and quality standard. The AMD will partner with Human Resources to assess talent, set performance goals, supervise-coach-provide routine feedback against performance expectations, advocate learning and development, and recruit talent to drive outcomes that deliver on ROI.
