Associate Mergers and Acquisition: Metals & Mining recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Support the origination and execution of diverse corporate finance activities and manage several assignments in parallel.
• Perform advanced financial analysis and lead transaction execution
• Continually keep abreast of market conditions, competitor deal flow, and client activities for clients in US and Canada
• Progress to greater responsibility in time for deal origination, expansion of internal and external client base, and strengthening relationships with clients and coverage bankers
• Supervise and train the analyst team and contribute to origination efforts, team discussions and client management.
Requirements:
• 3+ years relevant work experience specifically in MA executing transactions in the U.S. and globally
• Relevant MA deal execution support of a broad range of corporate advisory transactions
• Strong understanding of corporate finance techniques: modeling, financial analysis and valuation methods
• Direct experience within Natural Resources / Energy and/or Industrials
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong academic background from a top undergraduate program
